We can’t wait to share the images from Kela & Austin’s wedding day… it was SO Beautiful! But before we share those amazing images, we wanted to share what they did the morning of their wedding. Kela had asked us to meet her at the James River, across from her parent’s house, earlier that morning. We obviously agreed because Kela is my cousin, and we would do anything for her! But then she explained why. She let us know that her and Austin decided to get baptized the morning of their wedding, and it was just about the sweetest thing we have seen on a wedding day! Kela, her maid of honor, Austin, his best man, and the Pastor of Hope Church (where they were getting married) walked through the woods off the James River to a clearing where they could easily walk in. They walked in with the Pastor, who spent just a minute or two talking about Kela & Austin before each of them got baptized in the James River. The three of them shared in a prayer afterwards, and walked back with a vision of what their marriage is going to be like… centered on God, putting each other first, and full of so much love…. simple yet so meaningful. It was a perfect start to their commitment to each other and their marriage!
