Our last wedding of the season was absolutely to die for. Not only did we get to work with the most adorable couple, with the sweetest family ever, (who are also family friends of Michael’s), but we shot at an incredible venue (The Manor House at Kings Charter) for the very first time (and hopefully not the last), it was CHRISTMAS themed, and SANTA CAME. Yes, you read that correctly, Santa made a surprise appearance at the Manor House. Mark & Sarah had completely decked out the Manor House with Christmas cheer, and this venue was made for a wintery-Christmas wedding. I felt like I had stepped into a winter wonderland. Christmas music played throughout cocktail hour and dinner, a full size Christmas tree, snowmen cake toppers, Christmas movie cards in replace of table numbers, a cocoa bar, Mr. & Mrs. stockings, mistletoe, and SANTA! Did I mention Santa came? It was the absolute perfect wedding for the week before Christmas. Mark & Sarah, thank you so much for allowing us to capture this JOYFUL day.
1856! Sarah’s something old was her sweet great-grandmother’s wedding ring.
I think Michael actually started drooling when this car pulled up.
We just LOVED shooting at the Manor House! Richmond has such amazing wedding venues!
