I am a serial reorganizer. Seriously, it’s a problem. I spent all last weekend rearranging the files on my computer. I don’t know what’s wrong with me. There was no problem with my previous system. Anyways. A while ago I felt an overwhelming need to completely overhaul our office. We painted it our branding colors, rearranged furniture, reorganized EVERYTHING, and created a new gallery wall.. and I am completely in love with it. So, we thought we’d share our new office that we are oh so proud of.
We needed 2 gallons of a gorgeous light green paint AND primer. We were painting over bright orange walls though, so that might explain things. You have no idea how much more calming this room is. Unbelievable what some paint can do.
At first we were going to use butcher paper to map out where we thought everything should go on the wall, but planning just isn’t our style.. haha.. instead, we started with our new branded canvas/pin board and added everything around that piece by piece. We literally just walked around our house to find some pieces we could hang on the wall. We really didn’t want everything to be flat/frames so we searched for some things that would give dimension and pop off the wall. We also spray painted lots of brown, black, and random frames a matte white to make everything a little more uniform.
I tried my hand at creating a
Sweet Pear Paper copy with this large paper flower. While I love how it came out in the end, it was a mess creating it.. so do yourself a favor and go straight to Camberly if your making more than one flower! 😉
sooo cute! Tusker loves it too! great job!
