Recently, we had the pleasure of photographing Evan and Conor’s VMFA Richmond Engagement Photos in two beautiful Richmond spots: the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA) and St. Christopher’s School. These locations not only provide stunning backdrops but also hold special meaning for the couple, making this session even more personal and unique.

We kicked off the session at the VMFA, a favorite spot for Richmond engagement photography. On this beautiful Friday, the museum grounds were bustling with activity, as it’s a popular destination for locals on nice days. Even with the crowd, VMFA offers countless quiet, intimate corners, perfect for capturing special moments during engagement photo sessions in Richmond.

We started at the front of the building, where the lavender bushes and classic architecture created a picturesque backdrop. As experienced Richmond photographers, we know how to find the hidden gems around the museum grounds, and the couple shined in every setting. We love how the VMFA blends nature and art, offering versatility for every couple’s engagement session.

St. Christopher’s School Engagement Location

Next, we headed to St. Christopher’s School, where Evan and Conor’s love story began. St. Christopher’s is not only significant for them personally, but it also offers stunning settings for engagement photography in Richmond. With its collegiate-style buildings and lush landscapes, the campus provided the perfect romantic setting as the sun began to set. Even though a football game was happening at the time, we found some quiet spots that showcased the couple’s connection.

We love incorporating meaningful locations into engagement sessions, and St. Christopher’s School added a personal touch to Evan and Conor’s photos. The campus’s elegance, combined with the couple’s chemistry, made for some truly magical moments.
