Today we are sharing are very last wedding of the 2023 season, a Tredegar Winter Richmond Wedding. It is an absolutely perfect day. Casey and Dalton got married at Tredegar here in Richmond – one of our favorite wedding venues with some of our favorite vendors. And easily one of our favorite couples.

We have been SO excited for this day all year.  They capped off our season in the absolute best way. We knew we were going to end this year on such a high and it delivered. 

Bryce, their wedding planner, with Roberts and Co events (who is one of our favorite people on the planet) – we finally got to work with him without a huge disaster.  It was beautiful weather, easy vendors, and such a fun day. 

The decor at Tredegar was probably one of my favorites to date.  It looked SO amazing.  It was wintery, not Christmasy.  Erica, with Black Creek Florals, did an amazing job with everything.  It was the perfect winter wedding with hints of blue and lots of greenery.

Casey and Dalton got married at a church nearby. So they did a first look at Tredegar before all hopping on the trolley to go to the church. They planned out their timeline perfectly so that we got all of their portraits done before hand. So we did their first look and all their portraits, then their bridal party, and then their family before heading over to the church. Then we did a few with their grandparents and they were done.

Their vow reading was the absolute sweetest.  They did a private reading of their vows after their first look. Dalton just lost it.  It was so sweet. And so understandable because Casey looked absolutely incredible.

They also have the sweetest family. You could tell that they were very close to everyone. They did a lot of things to make everyone including throughout the wedding day. Casey actually dedicated her wedding bouquet to her mom at the reception. It was such a sweet moment. She also gave a gift to her new mother-in-law during the ‘getting ready’ part of the day so they could have a sweet moment together. It was all just very thoughtful and I loved it.

Then finished with the greatest dance party.  They had an outdoor cocktail hour at Tredegar which was beautiful.  Then their band, Trademark, just took it away.  Best moment was that they played Maria Carey and brought out all the fun Christmas props to kick off an amazing dance party.
