Today we are sharing Joanna and Kyle’s Richmond Fan District engagement session that we just tried here at Meadow Park here in Richmond’s fan district as well as Monument Avenue.

Meadow Park is really small city park in the fan district. But it was a great spot because it had some big beautiful trees to give us shade as well as really fun row houses and side streets to be able to walk down.

This was a fun spot for them because they both used to live nearby and would walk here often. It was a great way to tie in something personal to their engagement shoot.

It was also great because it’s only a couple blocks from Monument Avenue. So we headed there to be able to get the beautiful tree lined median with a ton of fall color. 

Monument Ave is a great spot in the fall because it really explodes with color in the fall.  It’s also great because there are so many trees where you’re likely to find some kind of color regardless of the time. 

It’s also right next to a ton of beautiful homes and more Richmond vibes of the downtown streets. And it’s right next to the branch museum which is a spot we really love. 

Another spot we really love is where these two are getting married in just a couple of months Tredegar. If you follow us – you know we love Tredegar because we’ve already posted about it TWICE this week. 

They are also bringing their dog to the wedding which is so fun.  And it’s how we ended the engagement session.  We headed to their house to do a few in their backyard and front porch with their dog.  This worked out perfectly. 

Joanna and Kyle are so sweet and laid back – I can’t wait for their wedding day SO SOON!
