We are sharing Loren and Taylor’s engagement session that we shot here in Richmond at Triple Crossing brewery in Fulton and Libby Hill Park.

We started their engagement session by shooting inside Triple Crossing. And we didn’t know or realize that they actually have an event space in the back. The bartender or whoever it was working there came up and was so nice letting us shoot inside and showed us this awesome space in the back. Loren and Taylor are even thinking about using it for their rehearsal dinner. Which would be so fun. 

It was a really fun location for their engagement shoot because they actually went to Triple Crossing after they bought their house in Richmond to celebrate. So it was cute to have that connection for this session.

The building itself is really cool. There are twinkle lights hanging, and large murals on all the walls, as well as huge casks in the back room they use for brewing beer. We did a few in a booth too with the Triple Crossing logo in the background. 

Libby Hill Park

Their first outfit was a little more formal, and then they switch to a more casual outfit for the second part of their session.  Libby Hill is such a toss-up in the fall. It either has insane fall colors everywhere or everything is still green. So even though there was still a lot of green we were able to find a little bit of fall colors for Loren and Taylor. A leaf or two. 

Loren was so sweet.  She brought confetti poppers and props to use during their session.  The wind was CRAZY so it was a little hard to use them, but so fun to have.  And then she also brought us cupcakes because our anniversary was the next day. So sweet. 

It’s always so nice to go to engagement sessions and get to know a couples a little bit better. It’s so funny because I am usually the one that communicates back-and-forth with our couples. But Michael has really done a lot of the back-and-forth because Loren is really into soccer and Manchester United and has a fantasy team. So Michael is all over talking and checking in with her about that.
