We had such an amazing time with Emily and Nathan at their engagement session. We absolutely LOVE that they picked a location we have never shot at before.. the canal walk in downtown Richmond. They wanted to show off a lot of Richmond’s street art, and it was so fun walking around to find new places in Richmond.. I can’t believe we’ve never walked around the canal before! It was an insanely gorgeous day so we had to be patient with a LOT of runners and bikers who flooded the sidewalks of the canal on this perfect evening.. but it was so worth it. We started in the bottom, right by Bottom’s Up, and walked around searching for graffiti until we hit the mecca across the canal from Casa Del Barco.. it was honestly reallllly hard to stay focused because there were so many fun places we could have stopped! We had to rip ourselves away so we could make it to the T-Pott bridge before it got too dark for their second outfit.
Emily and Nathan are the most easy going and fun couple.. and it was SO fun spending the evening with them, and hearing a little more about their wedding day.. which honestly sounds like it is going to be the most fun celebration ever. These two met at Camp Chanco and are having their wedding weekend there, and I am picturing the most amazing camp-for-grown-ups weekend ever. We can’t wait.
