Hey friends! We’re so excited to share our final wedding of the year, and what a way to wrap up the season with Laura & Bryce’s Hollyfield Manor Fall Virginia Wedding! Laura and Bryce tied the knot at the breathtaking Hollyfield Manor, just northeast of Richmond, and it was nothing short of magical. If you’re on the hunt for a venue that combines historic charm with natural beauty, this spot is truly a gem.
Being late November, the weather was cooler than usual. The breeze was definitely blowing. However, that didn’t stop Laura & Bryce from taking full advantage of the pretty, yet brisk day outside! The day started beautifully with stunning floral arrangements by King William Florist. They thoughtfully provided florals for flat lays, which made capturing all the gorgeous details so effortless.
Inside the manor, Laura’s bridal party created such a relaxed and joyful atmosphere. Everyone was so kind and supportive, making the getting-ready moments flow seamlessly. Laura had not one but three first looks—one with her bridesmaids, one with her dad, and, of course, one with Bryce. Each was filled with so much emotion, and the front porch of Hollyfield Manor served as the perfect backdrop.
That stunning white, historic porch at Hollyfield Manor is a dream for photos, and we made the most of it despite the wind. Laura and Bryce were absolute naturals in front of the camera. Within minutes, they were posing themselves, sharing sweet kisses, and making each other giggle. It reminded us so much of their engagement session! And it felt like we were just there to document their magic.
The bridal party and family photos were a breeze (pun intended!), and thanks to Hollyfield’s thoughtful layout, we were able to capture everything without worrying about guests arriving early.
The ceremony took place outdoors, overlooking the serene lake. Hollyfield’s ceremony space is an absolute showstopper, with its picturesque views and natural light that hits just right in the late afternoon. As Laura and Bryce exchanged vows, two geese flew by—an unexpected yet symbolic moment, as geese are known to mate for life. How perfect is that?
After the ceremony, we squeezed in a few more portraits just as the sun dipped below the horizon. The colors in the sky turned a stunning purple, creating the most breathtaking backdrop to signal the start of the party!
The reception at Hollyfield Manor was just as delightful. The space is versatile and cozy, making it ideal for any wedding. A standout moment was Laura’s surprise for her dad during their first dance—switching to his favorite song, Santa Claus Is Coming to Town by Bruce Springsteen, and turning it into a fun karaoke moment. The night ended with a packed dance floor and a lively photo booth, proving that even smaller weddings can bring big energy.
Laura and Bryce’s wedding was truly the perfect way to close out the season. From the love and laughter shared throughout the day to the beauty of Hollyfield Manor and its Richmond charm, this wedding will stay with us for a long time. Congratulations, Laura and Bryce! Thank you for letting us be part of your unforgettable day. 💕
