Capturing Stephanie and Casey’s Historic Williamsburg Fall engagement session was like stepping into a storybook. This charming area is full of cobblestone streets, gardens, and timeless architecture. It’s so beautiful there and it made it the perfect backdrop to showcase how cute these two are.

We began at one of Stephanie’s favorite spots, where she loves to walk to. A peaceful creek tucked away among the trees. Colonial Williamsburg is great because there’s so many amazing spots to take photos. Every time we go there, we end up at places we haven’t shot at before. With sunlight streaming through the branches and the gentle flow of water in the background, it was a perfect spot to start at. We love it when our couples share in spots that are meaningful to them. We didn’t even know there was a creek there before Stephanie took us there!

Florals in Fall – Historic Williamsburg Fall Engagement Session

From there, we headed to one of Historic Williamsburg’s many floral gardens. It was still in gorgeous bloom despite the season winding down. The garden was stunning, and the colors matched their outfits amazingly. And the sun gave us some wonderful glow here as well. Honestly, I could have stayed at this spot the entire time. It’s a favorite of ours and it’s only a few blocks from the center. And for some reason, it’s quiet whenever we go there. We get the whole garden to ourselves!

After an outfit change, we went over towards William and Mary and took a few with the beautiful architecture. It’s such a pretty campus, and the buildings over there are so cool! We finished where Stephanie and Casey shared their first date at a cozy coffee shop nearby. This spot holds a special place in their hearts, and it was touching to see them relive those memories. They shared a quiet moment, savoring the place where their journey began.
