Today we are sharing Megan and Will’s shops at Libby and Grove spring engagement session. We just shot here in Richmond starting at the shops at Libby and Grove (specifically Stella’s market) and then finishing up at Megan’s old stomping grounds Malvern Manor Apartments courtyard.

Well, I love that we started at Stella’s. It is one of our favorite places to eat – and Megan and Will go there for dates all of the time, so it ties into their love story. We always love when couples can choose personal locations for their engagement session. But if you haven’t been to Stellas, stop everything and go now. It is delicious and you will not regret it. 

The shops at Libby and Grove are so fun. We’ve done engagement sessions here before, but it was just perfect in the spring time because the cherry blossoms were out and it was looking really beautiful. The perfect spot if you want more city vibes for your engagement session. 

After we shot at the cherry blossoms for a little while we sat at Stella’s market. It’s somewhere they go all the time, so much so that when people saw them there, they sent out two glasses of champagne. That made it even more fun. 

The second part of the session we went to where Megan used to live. It is a big part of their story. Megan and Will actually used to work in the same building and they were kind of friends. Then one day after work, Megan mentioned she had a rough day and Will showed up in her apartment courtyard with a bottle of rosé. It was then that she realize that he really liked her, and the rest is history. 

Such an adorable story, and so sweet they decided to go back there with the same bottle of rosé for their engagement session.

And even more perfect that Waffles was there. Their adorable dog is made even more adorable by the name Waffles. He was the absolute sweetest, and it was so fun that he was there for the session.  We love when dogs come to engagement sessions!
