Today we are sharing Lindsey and Frank’s downtown Richmond riverfront engagement session. We just shot this session at the Tredegar area and the James River waterfront. 

Lindsey and Frank were actually debating using Lindsey’s family home. It’s on the James river in the southside of Richmond for their wedding day. But when we were on our initial consult call with Lindsay she mentioned that she was going tour Tredegar before making that final decision. 

And I warned her right away that she was going to fall in love with Tredegar and she absolutely did. They chose that as their venue. But it’s fine because they are still going to use their family home for things like their engagement party.  So best of both worlds.

We started right in front of the Foundry at Tredegar doors. The trees around in that area has a nice full color to that we were able to use before heading over to the other side of the building. Then finishing at the T-Pott bridge for sunset.

Tuna, their sweet dog, came for the middle of this session.  She had the most adorable dog floral crown for her.  I absolutely love when dogs come for the engagement session.  And she did such a good job.  

Then, they changed and we headed to the T-Pott bride for the end of their session. We had a beautiful sunset so the light was amazing.  

Honestly the best part of this session was being able to spend a little bit of time with Lindsey and Frank.  They are so joyful and bubbly.  They were so much fun to be able to spend time with. We just can’t wait to do it again for their wedding next year!
