Today we are sharing Abby and Jack’s Charlottesville orchard engagement session that we just shot right outside of Charlottesville at Chile’s Peach Orchard.

This is the same people who own Carter’s mountain apple orchard, also in Charlottesville, and it’s a place that Abby and Jack go frequently. So I love when an engagement session that incorporates our couples interests. 

I felt like we had the entire orchard to ourselves.  We did stay a little late and walked around nearby areas.  We got to Chile’s orchard early and got a stack of apple cider donuts and a drink and walk around.  It was lovely. 

We started in the apple orchard to get a little shade.  Then as the sun was dropping we got to capture some of the mountains.  There are some big mountain views all around the orchard.

Mountains make for such a beautiful photo background so it was really fun to go to Chile’s Peach Orchard for this engagement session.

They also brought their dog, Cola – and she is SO cute.  Dogs aren’t actually allowed at the orchard so we took her across the street and did those photos there.

We said for the last engagement session we shared that their dog was so well behaved. But Cola was perfect. She just sat there and smiled right at the camera the whole time. It was crazy. 

This was actually an abbreviated engagement session because of the hours at Chile’s orchard and some other factors.  But honestly we didn’t even really need extra time.  We could have been done in half this time.  Abby and Jack just jumped into poses so easily and their personalities are so sweet I felt like I knew them right away.
