Today we are sharing Annie and Santiago’s Bluemont Vineyard Virginia engagement session. 

Bluemont is in the midst of all the prettiness of northwest Virginia. Rolling hills, blue mountains, open fields, old country rock walls, all the pretty. 

The Vineyard is really set into a mountain. When we first got there I was a little worried we weren’t going to be able to find a lot of flat areas to stand for portraits. However, there were so many different great locations to shoot at Bluemont!

Annie and Santiago were so much fun.  About 5 minutes in Santiago asked if they were done – and we had to tell him he wasn’t even close, but by the end he said he had fun which is really all we want. 

Bluemont Vineyard

We went into the rows of vines and grapes and walked around to some different clearings to get the beautiful views.  On the drive up to the venue, we actually drove past a small parking lot area that had a great clearing with somewhat flat ground. Yes, even on the side of the mountain, we could find some flat areas! We unfortunately weren’t able to go to the wedding venue side of Bluemont, because there was an event going on. 

The Reserve – Bluemont Vineyard Virginia Engagement

But we were able to go to the very top which was called the Reserve. It’s the newest part of Bluemont Vineyard. It was a really cool area with some live music playing. Apparently it’s the “adults only” area of Bluemont, which is kind of a fun idea. So we finished our session walking around there, which turned out to be some of our favorites with some stunning views!

Honestly, Annie & Santiago were such a joy to photograph, and complete naturals in front of our cameras! We can’t wait for their wedding day! Until then, enjoy our favorites from their Bluemont Vineyard Virginia engagement session below… Congratulations you guys!
