Today we are sharing Angie and Eric’s Blacksburg Brewery Fall Engagement session that we did at Radford/Blacksburg. We went to Eastern Divide brewery (ops) in Blacksburg and Radford’s campus.

Angie and Eric were part of an absolutely crazy weekend for us. We actually had a sunrise session that morning in Richmond and then drove to Blacksburg to make it to their engagement session in the evening. 

Their original session actually had to be rescheduled with them. We had great weather this day where it was rainy on the original date and the fall color was out. And we wouldn’t have been able to make it to the brewery because it was closed on that day. So it really worked out.

We met Angie and Eric in the middle of Radford’s campus. This is where they met and fell in love so it was nice to be able to do their session there. We have known Angie and Eric for a long time. I met Eric when he was in elementary school (?) when I was working as a youth leader at a church back in Newport News. We also photographed his brother’s wedding and it was so fun for it to be his turn. 

And his mom met us at the brewery to drop off their dog so it was nice to be able to see her. 

Eastern Divide – Blacksburg Brewery

So yeah we started at Radford. And did a couple of spots there that were special to them on campus. Then we went to the brewery which was really cool. We were actually catching the tail end of the light once we made it to the brewery. 

The inside of the brewery had massive windows and awesome plants all over the place. If it wasn’t for the fact that it was almost Halloween (so they were decorations up) it would’ve been such a perfect place to shoot. Really was an awesome spot. And it sat up on the top of the hill so it had a good overlook. It was kind of like a greenhouse inside! 

So we decided to go to this brewery because Angie and Eric just love it there. But coincidentally one of their friends had made them custom beer glasses once they got engaged so we were able to use those during their Blacksburg brewery fall engagement session.

It was a wonderful day. Angie and Eric we absolutely love you too! Congratulations and can’t wait for the wedding!!!
