Hi guys! Soooo, we had our first session since all the craziness has been happening since Covid-19. It was a front porch newborn mini-session with sweet Sophia!
Yes, we broke quarantine, but only by a few days.
Right.
So before quarantine started, one of our past brides, Annie, bought a session for her sister Becky (and her husband JP), who is an even past-er bride. That’s not a word, but…
From further back, a couple years ago… She bought her a newborn session prior to all this happening, which I think is such a cute idea. Yea! It’s an adorable gift idea!
I love that idea, gifting a photo session. It’s probably because I’m a photographer… I’m a little biased. But I thought that was a really sweet baby shower gift, to buy a newborn session. We were really excited to shoot, then quarantine happened, but then Becky had their baby… I was going to say Becky had her baby anyways, like quarantine would stop it…
After Becky had her baby, and so we pushed the newborn session with everything going on. But after a short while, we just decided (with Becky & JP obviously) that we still really want to be able to capture little baby Sophia at this age, as she was so teeny tiny and just get those sweet memories captured. So we booked a front porch newborn mini-session with them to be able to get some photos outside of their house, while being able t0 keep our distance, but still be able to capture her in this itty bitty phase.
It did kill me to walk up and not be able to one, hug Becky and JP, and two, snuggle with little lady Sophia. It was so nice to be able to be there and capture this while she was so little.
Yeah, and the important thing is Becky & JP were fine with us coming over as well. JP is a nurse.
