During Elizabeth & Will’s ceremony, the officiant told us that he had asked the couple to email him 3-5 reasons why they love each other.  He said that Elizabeth immediately responded with 9 reasons.. and after some time Will sent 3.  The congregation erupted with laughter.. this behavior seemed very typical of these two.  But then the officiant went on to say that though Will’s reasons were few in numbers they were good ones.  As he read off what Will had sent, the laughter quickly turned to tears as the whole congregation could feel the immense love that Will has for Elizabeth.  He said, “When I am in a room full of people, I find I loose my concentration when she walks in the room.. and she helps me find my path.”  Though laughter returned again when one of Elizabeth’s 9 reasons was “because he is an Ole Miss Rebel and I will never have to cheer again him.. and because of the joy he brings into my life.”  I just loved this little part of their ceremony.  These two live in Texas, so we didn’t get meet Will until that weekend.  (Luckily we were able to meet Elizabeth a few weeks earlier for her bridal session.)  But after the ceremony we felt like we really knew these two as a couple.. and the intense love and joy that surround them, which followed into the reception.

This whole wedding day radiated joy.. from the huge 28 person bridal party, the belly laughs at the ceremony, the party bus from Petersburg to the John Marshall Ballrooms in downtown Richmond, the insanely boisterous live band, some serious dance moves, two of the sweetest mommas I have ever met, late night chicken biscuit snacks, and a huge sparkler exit that span the full city block.  Elizabeth & Will our prayer for you is that your marriage is as joy filled as your wedding day, we love you both!
