I have the worst memory. Seriously, it’s awful. Michael has an awful memory too.. we are a complete wreck. We have lists and post it notes and a million alert reminders on our phones.. it’s the only way we get by.
Anyways.. I went to Christopher Newport University, a tiny little school in tidewater Virginia. I thought a big school would be too overwhelming, but CNU was just perfect. A little gem in Newport News. The best thing about CNU is that the people are the nicest in the world. They call CNU a “community of door holders” – and it’s so true. Even now when I visit I am always met with the sweetest smiles and warmest welcome.
One of these wonderful people I met there is Ginny. When Ginny emailed us about her wedding, she included that we had a few classes together back at CNU. And most of the time, I would have embarrassingly needed that reminder (remember I have a horrific memory).. but not with Ginny. I remembered Ginny. I remembered her huge smile and contagious laugh. I remember her sweet and gracious heart. And I was SO excited that she had emailed US. and chose us to photograph her WEDDING!
We met Ginny & Paul at CNU for their engagement session.. and we FINALLY had some spring weather! The blooms were out, the sun was just warm, and we weren’t freezing our fingers off (if you did want to see our fingers freeze off, just check out Allison & Todd’s engagement)! After spending plenty of time at CNU, we headed across the way to the Mariners Museum. It was a beautiful evening!
Ginny & Paul, we enjoyed every moment we had with you guys, and can’t wait until your wedding day in the late fall!
