We normally meet with our prospective clients before they decide to book with us, but not these two! It was a new, amazing, and exciting feeling to have a couple contact us, asking if we are free on their date, and requesting a contract at the same time! When someone looks at your imagery, and knows they want you to photograph their big day, it means a lot!  I think our best marketing has definitely been friends of friends, and we have one of those to thank for introducing us to Stephanie & Joel. These two were our last engagement of 2016, and our first wedding of 2017, and they got married at the stunning Piedment Club in Haymarket. It couldn’t have been a more perfect day for an outdoor ceremony, sunny and 60 degrees. It’s finally beginning to feel more like Spring, and less like the strange summer/winter mix that’s been going on for the past month.

We also looooove it when our clients use our resources to help with their wedding planning and organization. And one of those big things we recommend our clients nail down immediately is the timeline of the day. Stephanie & Joel followed our suggested timeline to the T! They did a first look, and then spent more time with just us for their first moments together after tying the knot. We couldn’t get enough of these two, and their amazing families just made the night more fun throughout the evening… And that’s before you include possibly our most favorite DJ of all time!

They had ring bearers, and flower girls… all part of the big family there that was celebrating Stephanie & Joel. These kids were just amazing… we LOOOVE kids that can’t stop running around the dance floor, and this time, one of them even walked up to Stephanie & Joel immediately after they cut their cake, asking for a slice… ADORABLE! Congratulations Stephanie & Joel, we’re so honored to be there, and we hope you are having a blast on your honeymoon!
