The longer we are in business the more we realize how important it is to have a good solid workflow. We want to ensure that all of our clients get the same great experience. We strive to make sure to have a good system in place so that everyone is well taken care of.  Throughout the years we have tried a few different systems… some much better than others… and have finally found something that we think works really well for us. And whenever we find something that works really well we want to share it so that others don’t have to go through the rough process of finding something that works for them as well.

We are 17hats users and I have loved what this client management system has been able to do for our business. However we don’t think that it is the best at organizing workflows, so we really only use it for contracts, questionnaires, and invoices. It is wonderful and perfect for those things but when it comes to the workflow portion it just doesn’t hit it out of the park for us. Soooo… we had to go and find something that did. Enter Trello.  Trello is basically a glorified to do list. We are able to create and share boards, to-do lists, checklists, documents, edit each other’s shared boards and leave comments on what we have been able to accomplish. We love that each board is broken down into tasks, and each task can have a bunch of checklist items that when completed, we can check off. We always feel better when we can break down one long thing into smaller tasks, and feel productive about completing parts of it at a time. And, because there’s two of us it works perfect for being able to share what each other is working on.  But we also use it for individual projects and tasks.  Not to mention that we create our own personal boards, for groceries, chores, and our many projects that we do around our house.
