We had met Mary nearly a year before for coffee. A quick coffee to go over our her wedding details. Reed is a baseball player and was in Texas. We met Reed the day of the wedding. Yet from the moment we stepped into the getting ready room we felt like old friends. Those are just the kind of people Mary & Reed are. They make you feel so welcomed, and so comfortable with their huge smiles and amazingly kind hearts. They got ready at the stunning Independence Golf Club in Richmond, VA. Independence had a few cottages past the driving range where everyone was getting ready. While the ladies were getting beautifully done up in one cottage, the guys were celebrating the day with a bottle of champagne! Then we headed to their Catholic church for one of the sweetest ceremonies. Reed’s reaction to his gorgeous bride said everything. These two were madly in love and completely made for each other. After the ceremony the party started. The club gave us 9 carts to take around and find the most gorgeous light. We had a blast with their crazy, sweet, and gorgeous bridal party. These guys were absolutely hilarious! And even though Mary and Reed didn’t do a first look, they gave us a ton of time in between the ceremony and reception AND planned their timeline so we were taking portraits right at sunset. Once they were announced at the reception, they jumped right in to toasts. Both Mary & Reed had siblings in the bridal party, and both of them joked about not knowing what the other side of the family just committed to, before talking about how perfect they are for each other. You could really tell that everyone there knew how perfect these two were for each other…
Mary & Reed you two are amazing. We love you guys & can’t thank you enough for letting us be part of the most perfect day!
