You guys, we are SO excited.  We entered the 2016 Shoot & Share contest and we were just notified we are finalists!!!!  At least one of the images we submitted are in the top 3.5% of ALL the images submitted and we couldn’t be more excited.

The Shoot & Share contests is one of our most favorite things.  It is an ABSOLUTE blast to submit our images to be voted on by our fellow photographers (well, terrifying to submit, but a blast to actually see your image and even more so when someone marks your image a ‘favorite’!).  But our favorite part is that we get so inspired by being able to vote ourselves and see so much incredible work.  We seriously get so sucked in.. I’m constantly saying.. ‘just 1 more’.. ‘just 5 more’.. ‘just until we see another of our images’.  It creates a serious addict out of me.

Well, we love voting so much that we figured we would have our own little contest, and let YOU have your own fun voting.  So for the next week, we will collect votes for favorite images, and the image with the most votes will win a CANVAS!  Eek we love canvases!!!

Sooo how to vote.  Comment below writing your favorite image, go to our Facebook page (and “like” us!) then “like” the image you want to vote for, or post on Instagram the image you want to vote for and tag us (@laura_d_archer, @michael_w_archer, #michaelandlauraphotography)…. or do all three!!! Next Friday (March 25th) we will share who the lucky winner is. Make sure to share with your friends and family about voting for your image so you can get more votes.
