We are SO excited about a few new series we are going to start along with our new blog.  We want to empower our couples to feel prepared, calm, and excited about their wedding day… and we want them to enjoy planning.  We want our couples to love being married and to love each other deeply every day.  And we want to share our love of photography and what we’ve learned the last 4 years working in this industry with other professionals, and anyone hoping to learn how to take better pictures.

Monday Crafternoon’s for the DIY bride (Mondays) I think I’m probably most excited about this one.  I was definitely a DIY bride and LOVED putting all my little details together.  In fact, I kinda miss it.  So, this past DIY bride and her handyman husband will walk through some of our favorite DIY projects and give step-by-step instructions on how to get it done.

Keys to the Perfect Day (Tuesdays) We will go step by step through your wedding day to tell how to get the most out of your photographer.  From creating a perfect timeline to picking a getting ready location, we will explain what’s important and how to plan for a perfect day.

For Photographers (Thursdays) This one is all Michael.  YAY for Michael blogging!!!  He has always been the technical one, and is the one who has a degree from one of the #1 public arts schools in the country in photography.  So, it makes sense that he could give some technical advice.  He’ll highlight everything from how to get that perfect shot, the lens we use do it, and the technology we use showcase it. 

Friday Night is Date Night (Fridays) – I said I was most excited about our DIY series, but this one is definitely a tie.  We love weddings, but we LOVE marriages.. Long, happy, marriages.  And we know one way to foster those is to date.  Research supports it, and so do we!  So twice a month we will highlight some of our favorite date ideas to encourage you to never stop dating your spouse.

These series will be sprinkled through our blog (on the days mentioned).  These posts won’t happen every week, they will be mixed in with images from recent sessions and weddings, personal updates, and other tips, tricks, and thoughts.

Finally, to get our “Friday Night is Date Night” series on a roll, we are giving away a date night!   Dinner and a movie.. On us.  And the best part is.. Entering is EASY.
